It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and founder of WOW Dog Rescue - KIM. She was a light of optimism and strength in the rescue world. As a result, WOW Dog Rescue has shut down and we will no longer be accepting donations or intakes. Pound PuppyZ has generously offered to take on WOW's current dogs and any further inquiries can be directed to them at www.poundpuppyz.com

Is Athena still available??
(Unfortunately, we will not reply to emails asking this question as
we do not have the time or volunteers to do so. We update our website daily
just so you will know the status right away).
PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE for up to date information to find out.
Check the Gallery by putting your mouse on the photo.
IF it says Pending, we chose someone, but they haven't met up yet.
If it says Adopted, then the dog has been happily united with
a forever family.
IF nothing is there other than their name, they are still available.

If you want a dog that will be right by you
and love laying with you or sitting
on your lap, it would be Athena.
SUPER sweet girl who is 2.5 yrs old and definitely
holds true of her name "Goddess of Love".
She weighs in at 8.5 lbs and we think she is a blend of poodle
and maybe cairn terrier mix (?)
Loves to be pampered and doesn't mind you fixin up her hair
or brushing her. Just more attention she loves.
She does fine with her 2 small foster doggie friends.
Shes not real playful with them, she just loves and looks
forward to her foster daddy to come home.
She has been going potty outside with out
problems, but not real sure about the doggy door.
A family with out toddlers would be the best for
her as she does get startled easily.
The only time you will her her make a noise is if she is kenneled.
If you are chosen, please know that if you kennel her she
gets upset and will carry on....sleeping with you or
near you is great for this gal.
(she is currently sleeping with the foster and his dogs).
Walks are much better for her now then when
she was first brought to our rescue.
Athena is not a dog that will destroy your home while you are gone,
but will wait patiently for you to come back.
Athena is vetted with her DAPP, Bordetella,
Microchipped and spay.
We are waiting for her to get a rabies shot, and she will be ready to go
to her forever home.
We will review applications for her the week after Easter.
You will get a call if you are chosen.
Athena's adoption fee is set at $260.00
