It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and founder of WOW Dog Rescue - KIM. She was a light of optimism and strength in the rescue world. As a result, WOW Dog Rescue has shut down and we will no longer be accepting donations or intakes. Pound PuppyZ has generously offered to take on WOW's current dogs and any further inquiries can be directed to them at www.poundpuppyz.com

Phoenix Arizona / Maricopa County Animal Care and Control IS a Kill shelter. They euthanize Dogs and Cats when they are overcrowded and cannot find homes for them. W.O.W will go there and pull dogs that are on the euthanasia list when Fosters are available. Animals are not disposable and should have a chance to have a happy and healthy life. CTA FREEDOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL deserves a huge bunch of WOOFs for there love for the animals! This is a CUSD school in Gilbert. They are a uniform school and they host dress down days where the kids can wear "regular" clothes and they pay $1.00 to donate to a cause. This time, someone nominated W.O.W Dog Rescue for their cause!! The total ended up to be $420.00
