July is an owner surrender, due to wanting to hunt the cats in the home.
July was adopted when a tiny pup, but the family was not able
to teach her to eave the cats alne...so now, 4 yrs later
they have decided it was best for her to find a home where there
are no cats, so she can run the house with out getting in trouble.
She weighs in around 30 pounds, and is much shorter than the average
Retriever. (4 yrs old).
Other than the cat issue...she is a perfect and sweet girl.
Part Golden retriever and some type of dog that has front feet that
turn outward. (Her legs are shorter too than a retriever).
The family was concerned when she was a pup
and they noticed her feet turning in-ward,
so they took her to a vet who said they
could "break" the front feet and re-set them so they would grow
like a regular dogs feet, for $4,000....Glad to say, they didn't do it!!
She walks just fine and she could have Bassett or doxie
in her with the feet turning outward.
Non the less, she is a beauty of a gal, and loves all people, kids
and dogs...just not cats.
She is house trained, loves running around the back yard
and going for walks. If you know anything about the Golden breed...
you know her temperment.
July is current on her shots and she is spay.
