Maise (pronounced MAY-C) is a sweet but unsure lil gal, that was a
stray...she is very loving and connects to her humans
if they give her some time to know you won't
harm her. So patience is the key for her.. then she is
your forever friend.
She appears to be a Cairn Terrier Mix and is around
12 lbs. We think she is around 2 yrs old.
She was a stray and some kind folks took her in after
finally catching her...and of course fell in love with her while
looking for her forever family.
No luck though.. there dog wasn't having it...so they turned
her in to our Rescue, and she has been in a foster home
since.
Maise is housebroken (had 2 accidents at 1st)..
she sleeps in her crate and feels safe there,
not interested in toys but could
if she stayed too much longer..the fosters have never heard
her bark, enjoys a good bully stick and now
follows the foster mom around the house.
Maise isn't easily persuaded by treats, and she is a light eater.
She isn't real sure about a leash, but the fosters are
working with her on this.
Rides nicely in a car...and for whatever reason.. she likes
to lick the inside of the fosters shoes..
Visitors don't seem to bother her one way or another.
Her best place to be is laying on the couch and
being brushed :)
when she outside and hears a dog bark
she heads to the front door...
She is going to require someone that has patience and
prefer no little children. If she sounds like the
one for you please apply.
Maise's adoption fee is set for $240.00
She will be ready for her forever home around
Nov 7th. By then her spay, Rabie shots, Bordetella, DHPP,
and microchip will be done and she will be healed.
